Services
Webloom Book Publishing provides book typesetting, print and ebook formatting, and self-publishing support services to independent authors.
The specific services, price, delivery schedule and number of included revisions will be confirmed in a written quotation before work begins.
Webloom Book Publishing provides services only. Authors retain ownership of their content, control their publishing accounts and receive royalties or sales proceeds directly from the relevant platform.
Client materials and intellectual property
Clients must own or have permission to use all manuscripts, images, illustrations, fonts, quotations and other materials supplied for a project.
The client grants Webloom Book Publishing permission to process and format those materials only as necessary to provide the agreed services.
Work may be refused or suspended where supplied material appears unlawful, infringing or contrary to a publishing platform’s rules.
Third-party publishing partforms
Amazon KDP, IngramSpark and other publishing platforms are independent third parties.
Webloom Book Publishing may prepare files or provide technical submission assistance, but cannot guarantee platform approval, publication, distribution, book sales or royalties.
The author remains responsible for their platform account, ISBN, pricing, tax information, publication choices and compliance with the platform’s terms.
Webloom Book Publishing is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon KDP, IngramSpark or any other third-party publishing platform.
Payments and revisions
Payment terms and the number of included revisions will be stated in the quotation.
Work may begin after the required initial payment is received. Final production-ready files may be withheld until the outstanding balance has been paid.
Changes outside the agreed project scope, including substantial manuscript changes or additional file versions, may require an additional fee.
Clients are responsible for reviewing proofs and confirming that names, text, page order, ISBNs and other publication details are correct before final approval.
Cancellation and refunds
A client may cancel a project by contacting Geraldine@webloompublishing.com
If cancellation occurs before work begins, payments will normally be refunded after deducting any non-refundable third-party or payment-processing costs.
If cancellation occurs after work begins, charges for completed work and non-refundable expenses will be deducted from any amount paid. Any remaining refundable balance will be returned to the client.
Refunds are not normally provided after final files have been approved and delivered merely because the client changes their mind, decides not to publish or does not achieve expected book sales.
If a technical formatting error caused by Webloom Book Publishing prevents the file from meeting the agreed requirements, a reasonable correction will be made without an additional service fee.
File delivery and storage
Clients are responsible for downloading and securely storing their original manuscripts and completed files.
Webloom Book Publishing may retain working files temporarily after project completion but does not guarantee permanent file storage.
Limitation of service
Webloom Book Publishing will provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill.
The business does not guarantee commercial success, sales, reviews, platform acceptance or a particular publication date.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
